6th Day: Snake River Rafting, Rendezvous Peak

JACKSON HOLE, WY Sep 16 - This was our last full day of the trip. And it was a high and low day. We took a 3-hour rafting trip down Snake River, and followed it up with a tram ride to the 10,500 ft Rendezvous Peak above the Teton Village.  The views were spectacular. But the wind was so strong that nobody could stay outside for more than a few minutes at time. Made us wonder what it is is like to climb these mountains when an ostensibly leisurely ride turned into an windy adventure. Just take a look at Elizabeth clinging to that rock above for dear life... (right). She thought she would get blown away from the top of the mountain by the wind. :-)

And if you don't believe her, check out this short video I took at the 10,500 ft peak...

And now, here are some still shots from our last day's adventures...

We had dinner at a fish restaurant in Wilson whose window served as a mirror

And when we returned to our condo, we were welcomed by a family of deer
